That longevity shows in how the platform behaves, as it feels settled rather than experimental, with a sportsbook built around Asian betting habits and a casino that doesn't try to compete on gimmicks.

Security & Licensing: Are They Trustworthy?
Dafabet is operated by Osmila N.V., a company incorporated under the laws of Curaçao with company number 102267, and licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) to offer games of chance under license number OGL/2024/1276/0583. The license was granted on 15 October 2025 and is subject to the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (Landsverordening op de kansspelen, P.B. 2024, no. 157).
Dafabet's CGA Certificate of Operation, which we reached by clicking the seal in the site footer. It names dafabet.com, Osmila N.V., and company number 102267, with the license granted 15 October 2025 and status Active.
We verified this rather than taking the footer at face value, and the distinction matters more than it used to. Curaçao replaced its old system in December 2024: the master-and-sub-license structure that let four private holders resell licenses with minimal scrutiny is gone, all legacy sub-licenses have expired, and the CGA now issues directly. Operators must display a seal that links through to a certificate at cert.cga.cw showing the specific domain, the operator, and current status. A static badge that doesn't click through means nothing.
Dafabet's does. The seal resolves to a live certificate naming dafabet.com, Osmila N.V., and a status of Active. That's the check worth doing on any Curaçao-licensed site you're considering, and a fair number fail it.
Dafabet's Licensing Across Jurisdictions
Beyond Curaçao, Dafabet holds separate licenses for specific regulated markets:
- Great Britain: The dafa.co.uk operation is run by SCGO, a Malta-registered company (registration C4592), licensed by the UK Gambling Commission under account number 44662.

Those three matter for a specific reason: holding a UKGC license means passing genuine regulatory scrutiny, including audited financials, segregated player funds, and enforced responsible gambling standards. Very few operators accepting Malaysian players hold one at all.
The caveat is equally important. Malaysian players are served under the Curaçao license, not the UK, Spanish, or Kenyan ones. Those licenses apply only to players physically located in those countries, with Dafabet's terms explicitly barring UK, Spanish, and Kenyan residents from accessing their accounts from outside those jurisdictions. Dafabet splits its welcome offers by product, and you can hold one from each rather than choosing between them. The sports side gives you a further choice of two structures at the cashier, which is uncommon in this market. Read past the percentages before picking, as figures point one way, and the wagering maths points another, and the two offers below clear at very different speeds.
Sports Welcome Bonus
The 180% first deposit offer, capped at RM 688, is one of two sports welcome bonuses Malaysian players choose between at the cashier.
The sports welcome bonus works differently from most in this market: you pick your offer at the cashier using a bonus code, not through a promotions page. On your first deposit of RM 30 or more, a BONUS CODE field appears with the available options. Enter DSFDB180MYR for the 180% match up to RM 688, or DSFDB60MYR for 60% up to RM 3,000. Both carry the same 12× wagering requirement on bonus plus deposit, and only bets at odds of 1.50 or above count toward it. This is the part worth getting right: deposits made without a bonus code automatically forfeit the offer, and Dafabet's terms state plainly that no manual bonus can be applied afterward. There's no second chance on a first deposit.
Doing the maths makes the choice clearer than the percentages suggest. Deposit RM 100 with the 180% offer and you receive RM 180 in bonus, but you'll need to turn over RM 3,360 at odds of 1.50+ before withdrawing. The 60% offer has an identical 12× requirement, so its only real advantage is the higher RM 3,000 ceiling, which needs a RM 5,000 deposit to reach. For most Malaysian players, the 180% is the better value. Two conditions catch people out: the bonus expires after 45 days, with the bonus and any winnings from it reversed if you haven't cleared the requirement, and you're locked out of rebates and cashback until the wagering is complete.
A long list of products is also excluded from turnover: Betradar Virtuals, eSportsBull, Vir2uals, Kiron, LEAP Games, Live Lottery, Exchange, and Edge Games, so stick to standard sportsbook markets if you're clearing a bonus.

The casino welcome bonus is simpler to claim than the sports offer, with no bonus code needed, but harder to clear. Deposit RM 50 or more in a single transaction into the Dafabet Casino wallet and you get a 100% match up to RM 1,200, credited instantly. It's open only to new depositors at the Bronze Casino Club VIP level; it can't be combined with any other first deposit bonus, and it's a one-time claim. One condition to be careful with: if you withdraw or transfer funds out of your deposit before the bonus lands, you forfeit eligibility permanently, so let the bonus credit before touching the balance.
The wagering is where this gets demanding. The requirement is 30×, and crucially, not all games count equally. Slots, scratchcards, keno, bingo, lottery, money wheel and live game shows contribute at 100%. Roulette, blackjack, pontoon and video poker contribute only 20%. Baccarat, Andar Bahar, Teen Patti, crash games, craps, Sic Bo, Dragon Tiger, fan tan and table poker contribute just 5%, meaning RM 100 wagered on baccarat counts as RM 5 toward your requirement. Six slots contribute nothing at all: Savage Jungle, Shields of Rome, Wild Lava, Streak of Luck, Tip Top Totems and Midnight Wilds. There's also an RM 82 cap on individual bonus bets, and exceeding it can void the bonus and any winnings from it. In practice, this is a slots bonus; clearing it on table games would take an impractical amount of turnover.

Running until 30 September 2026, this is a Malaysia-only promotion rather than a global offer with the flag swapped in. It runs in three parallel tracks, and the thing to understand upfront is that none of them credit you anything for turning up, and meeting the requirements enters you into a draw or a leaderboard. You also have to opt in through a form with your username, as depositing alone won't enroll you.
Holiday 1: new players. Deposit RM 88 within 15 days of registering and turn over RM 288 in the fortnightly period. Ten players per period win an RM 88 free bet, running across six periods to the end of September, with 60 winners in total.

Holiday 2 and Holiday 3 both reward volume, so the more you wager, the better you place. That's a different proposition from a deposit match, where you know the value before you commit. The sensible approach is to bet what you were going to bet anyway and treat any prize as incidental, rather than raising your stakes to chase a leaderboard position.
